North Shore Girls Soccer Club is Canada's largest female-first independent, club-based soccer program. We provide quality soccer experiences year-round to girls and women of all ages and abilities on Vancouver’s picturesque North Shore.

Board & Committees
We are always looking for volunteers to join one of our standing committees or working groups. Standing committees are Policy & Governance; Finance & Audit; HR; and Nominations (August / September only). Working Groups include Events & Volunteering; Operations; and Fundraising & Capital Campaign.
NSGSC welcomes interest in our Board of Directors. Annual candidate call-out is usually made in June. The current Board would value candidates with human resource management, financial, or facilities management experience. The Board meets ~ 6 times/year. Coaching Staff
NSGSC is looking ahead to growth in our 2024/25 season. With a strong leadership team in place in both the technical and business divisions of the Club, we are seeking to expand our Technical Staff. Seasonal / Part-Time Coaching Roles
Are you interested in coaching dedicated competitive players at the BC-Premier League or Club-D1 level?
NSGSC forms our most competitive teams in March/April for the 2024/25 upcoming season. We are currently seeking experienced, licensed coaches to support our pathway players. Coaches at this level must have 3+ years of youth coaching experience, and a national-level coaching license as well as appropriate grassroots coaching certifications (age appropriate).
- PT-Seasonal D1 Head Coach - mid-August through April + spring/provincials season (reduced) May-early July
- PT-Seasonal PL/D1 Assistant Coach - working with our partner female teams at NVFC in the BCSPL, year-round (December/July breaks)
Are you interested in coaching as a part-time job while attending school? Are you just starting your coaching career?
NSGSC is always looking for hourly/part-time coaches available to support our youth league and development programs. Starting in September, with variable hours through June, our Staff Coaches support our Technical Leads on the field with program set-up, skills stations, player development and progress reports.
- NVSD Academy Coach - weekday afternoons 12:30-3PM
- Development Centre Coach U6-U12 - Weekday evenings T/W/R
- Mini's Coach - U4-U7 - Saturdays/Sundays
- Junior Coach - U8-14 - weekday evenings (volunteer/stipend) **Grade 10-12 students, no experience coaching necessary
NSGSC supports Coaching Career Development through funding further training in NCCP Soccer Certifications and Respect in Sport.

Sponsorship & Fundraising Manager (Permanent Part-Time OR Contract)
Do you know how to build relationships? Can you motivate corporations to give? Do you have a passion for advancing women and girls in sport?
NSGSC is looking for support (~1 day/week) to meet our fundraising goals.
You have experience working in sponsorship marketing and/or fundraising. You are comfortable reaching out and presenting to potential corporate and foundation targets and managing all aspects of the sales process. You have knowledge of how to build assets and proposals to match partner and Club values. You are a solid communicator. You, most importantly, believe in the values of our Club and growing sport for women and girls - you see the immense potential in the timing of seeking new relationships right now!
Facilities-Maintenance Manager (PT / Contract)
Do you know building maintenance? Can you negotiate contracts? Do you have some spare time for a side-hustle?
NSGSC is looking for ad-hoc contract support (~10-15H/month) to support year-round maintenance of our NSG Indoor Facility.
You have experience working in facilities/operations and are comfortable managing all aspects of maintenance supplier relationships: procurement, contract negotiation, execution. You are comfortable reporting via email promptly to the ED and have strong professional communication skills. You are organized and can manage seasonal requirements to keep the facility in working/safe order year-round.

Are you a student or a recent graduate looking to pursuit a career in sport?
NSGSC is looking for new INTERNS to join our operations teams, to learn, to experience to grow! All internships are generally ~30H/week for up to 4-months. These roles can be extended based on candidate availability to further support our operations.
Digital-Social Coordinator
Do you love communications and design? We are looking for a keen social media and design specialist to support our weekly digital communications strategy. This role will lead all social media postings, support the development of our annual content calendar, program and sponsorship promotions, member newsletters and signage. Understanding of Canva, Meta advertising, MailChimp are assets.
This position is available IMMEDIATELY or start date as late as May 1st.
Equipment-Kit Coodinator
Can you organize things? Skilled with MS Excel? Love soccer? NSGSC is looking for someone to support our equipment and uniform inventory and annual distribution. In this role, you will help manage vendor relations, purchasing agreements, gain event and volunteer management skills and support our donations program.
This position is available IMMEDIATELY or start date as late as May 1st.
Camp Leader-Coaches (2 available)
Do you love being outside and working with youth? Our summer camp coaches bring the perfect balance of fun and skills to our 5-12 year old camp participants. This role supports our Technical Staff with both on and off-field camp elements: promotion, set-up & registration, equipment management, skills training, fun & games, wrap-reports. This role can be extended based on candidate availability to further support our Fall League preparations. There are two (2) positions available for July-August. Any coaching certifications are an asset, but not required.
