Women's

In December 2001, The North Shore Girls Soccer Club approved the creation of a Women’s Program. Since then, it has provided a venue for youth players to transition into adult soccer.

The NSGSC Women's Program is part of NSGSC in the same way as Peewee and Divisional. We provide playing opportunities for all players 17+.

We welcome all levels of players and have various different teams to accommodate all abilities. So, if you are looking to continue to play at a highly competitive level, or are looking to have some fun and get some weekly fitness in a recreational league, we have a team for you! Scroll down the page to learn more and find your best fit!

Already know What Team you would like to play for?

League Information

We first form teams by skill level, then by age. The main questions to ask yourself are:

  • What level do you want to play at?
  • Do you want a team of similar age range?
  • How committed are you?

When divisions have multiple teams, we try to group them by age range. For example, we may have a Division 1 team with players mostly over 25 and one with players mostly under 25.

Most of our teams participate in the Metro Women’s Soccer League (MWSL).  This league is for players of all levels. We have one team that participates in the North Shore Thirty-Somethings Women's Soccer League (NSTSWSL). This team is for players who are over the age of 30, who live in the North Shore or in Squamish, and who are recreational. If you are a player over 30 who is looking for a more competitive option, see above.

If you are interested in joining a team please find our current programs below open for registration, or for more information/questions, please email our Women's Program AGC.

NOTE: Players who are applying for financial assistance due to reasons which prevent full commitment to the season (rather than financial hardship) may apply. This includes pre-booked travel for a substantial part of the season, anticipated family leave, work schedule...

Interested in playing or coaching in the Women’s Program?

Note that we fill in existing teams before we create a new team. However, if there is a group that is large enough to create an entirely new team (without taking players from existing teams) then we welcome the new addition!

We are always looking for coaches and managers to head up our teams. Contact us if you are interested.

For more information on registering, coaching, or adding a new team please contact the Women's Proram AGC:
