Foundations U8-U10
Our goal is to engage girls in sport by creating fun programs for all levels of ability and commitment.
We encourage participation in more than one sport with the ultimate goal to develop our players with a love for sport and physical activity through soccer excellence.
With Programs being offered from the ages of U6-U18, we believe in teaching our youth powerful life lessons by creating bonds with teammates, coaches, and sport that will cary them through their soccer career and into adulthood on and off the field.
League Information - 2025/26
Number of Players: 10-12/team
Number of Teams: NSGSC will have ~12-18 teams / age group
Practices & Games: 1 training session/week + Game on Sunday
NSYSA: Small Sided Soccer in the North Shore District is governed by BC Soccer's Rule 26. This is a set of age-groups specific adaptations of the FIFA rules, adapted by BCSA for Small Sided Soccer. Game play is interlocked with WVFC.
Ball size: 4 (U8 size 3)
Volunteers Required: 1 Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, Team Manager (at least one female)
Development Options: Academy, Pro D Days, Spring Break Camps, Summer Camps

Ages: 7-9, Birth Years 2016-2018
2025/26 Season Dates: September 7, 2025 - March 8, 2026
Winter Holiday Break: December 15 - January 4
*No Games on Thanksgiving OR Family Day Weekends*
Practice Days/Times: Weekday Evenings: ASSIGNED by NSGSC
Time: 1 HOUR between 5:30-8:00 PM
Games: Sundays: times vary throughout the day. Game schedule is managed by NSYSA.
