Incorporated in 1986 as a non-profit society, North Shore Girls Soccer Club (NSGSC) is one of the largest community soccer clubs in BC and the only grassroots female-first centred soccer club in Canada. For almost 40 years we have had a dedicated team of coaches, staff, and volunteers who are passionate about soccer, and the long-term positive impact of sport. We are committed to the growth and development of girls and women in our community, and to continuing the soccer legacy on the North Shore.
NSGSC is required to have a register of Members to provide for good governance and sustainability of the Club. The Club's Board of Directors, in accordance with the Bylaws, requires that memberships be completed in order for players to participate in league play.
Membership entitles each member to all benefits as outlined in the BC Societies Act. Most notably, members receive notice of, and are entitled to attend and vote at, all general meetings of the Club. All membership applications are subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Memberships are valid from date of approval through August 31st of the following year, and must be renewed on an annual basis in order to remain in good standing. There are no membership fees.
Am I a Member?
The Parent/Guardian who registers their child 18 years and under will be required to become a member during the league registration process. The membership for NSGSC is free and will be a mandatory part of the registration.
Women's Division & North Shore Indoor League players must also be members to play in our club and will also be required to become a member during the league registration process.
If this is not you, and you are interested in advancing the purpose if NSGSC, please apply!
