Development Centre
The NSGSC Development Centre is the first step in the club’s development pathway and is open to anyone interested in improving their game U7 – U17. This program is designed to develop individual techniques and confidence on the ball through a challenging and fun environment led by our full-time technical staff. Players will learn skills that are transferable to the game through a progressive training syllabus. The “TECHNICAL” aspect is the most vital. It is key to not just playing the game but impacting the game in a positive way and it forms the base of all soccer.
‘OWN THE BALL, BEFORE YOU SHARE THE BALL’
We will coach players by emphasizing the following:
- Individual ball mastery
- Individual creativity by 1v1 moves
- Turning and changing direction at speed
- Passing and receiving techniques from angles and at speed
- Decision making based games
The NSGSC Development Centre programs all take place (unless otherwise noted) in our own Indoor Facility (NSGIF). The facility provides a safe, climate-controlled environment where players can focus on building their skills, not the weather! NOTE - the NSGIF is a spectator-free facility.

- U7-U8: Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 pm
- U9-U10: Mondays 5:30-6:30 pm OR Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm

Winter Saturday Development Centre
Saturday Development Centre is back this winter! This 5-week program gives players an extra opportunity each week to get more touches on the ball, sharpen their skills, and build confidence leading into evaluations. Our staff coaches will support players in their preparation and group them with like-minded peers to maximize development. It’s a great opportunity for motivated players to continue growing in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Program Details:
Ages: U10-U15 players (2011-2016 born)
When:
- U10: Saturdays @ 1:30-2:45 PM
- U11-U15: Saturdays @ 2:45-4:00 PM
Dates: January 10, 17, 31, February 7, 28 (5 sessions total)

Advanced Development Centre
The NSGSC Advanced Development Centre program focuses on developing players and coaches for advancement to higher levels through a challenging and high temp training environment. The Club Technical staff will implement a structured needs based technical training program for these age groups and levels. As the need for technical proficiency continues, players of these age groups and levels will participate in a Technical Development program with players from Division 1 and Metro level.
The Advanced Development Centre aims to successfully combine coaching excellence, and a mutual desire to unearth the limitless potential in each of our young players. We strive to create an elusive balance between the coaching of high-level soccer skills, techniques, and tactics with the quest to instill a sense of professionalism, leadership, and confidence in all our participants.
This Program is INVITE ONLY for Division 1 and Metro Players
Days/Times: Weekday Evenings, 1 HOUR/week
- U11-U12 ADC: Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 pm
- U13 ADC: Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 pm
- U14 ADC: Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 pm
- U15-U16 ADC: Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 pm
Dates:
- FALL: September 16th - December 10th*
- *No sessions on Sept 30th (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation) & Nov 11th (Remembrance Day)
