North Shore Girls Soccer Club Call for Auditor 2025

North Shore Girls Soccer Club is one of the oldest and largest female-centered not-for-profit community soccer clubs in Canada. For over 35 years we have had a dedicated team of coaches, staff, and volunteers who are passionate about soccer, and the long-term positive impact of sport. We are committed to the growth and development of girls and women in our community, and to continuing the soccer legacy on the North Shore.

As part of our ongoing due diligence and in an effort to ensure that the audit process for our organization continues to meet not only our statutory requirements, but also the increasing expectations of our members, we are soliciting tenders for the financial statement audit and income tax returns of the North Shore Girls Soccer Club (“NSGSC”). This tendering process will become part of an overall plan to ensure that more routine review process is implemented with respect to audit engagements. Our year end is June 30, and we can make our books available for audit by August 1 each year. We generally hold our Annual General Meeting at the end of September.

NSGSC is requesting a written proposal from your firm concerning the audit of our annual financial statements. Your proposal should include fee arrangements for the next three years, beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.

To be considered, your firm must demonstrate the ability to, among other criteria:

1. Meet our deadlines in a coordinated and efficient manner
2. Work as a team with members of our staff
3. Provide quality services at a cost-effective rate.

Additionally, your firm must be able to provide a draft audit and financial statements for September 5, 2025 and finalized audit and financial statements delivered no later than September 19, 2025 and prepare the income tax filings according to CRA deadlines.
