Celebrating Girls & Women In Sport
This summer marks the inaugural launch of Girls & Women in Sport Celebrations, a full season dedicated to recognizing and elevating the female game. While NSGSC has hosted club days at matches in the past, this year the Club is levelling up. With the entrance of the NSL and the RISE FC team, we have packaged a summer-long series of events and opportunities for girls, not only to participate but to learn from and be inspired by watching pro sport.

Vancouver Rise is Vancouver’s very own professional women’s soccer club, proudly competing in the newly launched Northern Super League (NSL). As one of the league’s six founding clubs, Vancouver Rise is committed to creating a platform that empowers Canadian athletes to thrive at the highest level while inspiring the next generation of young players across the country.
The Rise call Swangard Stadium in Burnaby their home, bringing elite women’s soccer to the local community.
We’re especially proud to cheer on goalkeeper Kirstin Tynan and Head Coach Anja Heiner-Møller, both alumni of NSGSC, as they take the next step in their soccer journeys with Vancouver Rise!
