Girls & Women in Sport Celebrations are part of the fabric of North Shore Girls SC. All year, each season, we recognize and elevate the female game. Featuring NSGSC hosted Pro-club matches at NSL, MLS and CPL games, summer events, and opportunities for girls, not only to participate but to learn from and be inspired by watching pro sport.

Vancouver Rise FC
Stronger By Nature
Northern Super League inaugural season one CHAMPIONS, Vancouver Rise came from behind to beat Toronto FC 2-1 in front of a packed crowd at BMO Field.
Vancouver Rise is Vancouver’s very own professional women’s soccer club, proudly competing in the newly launched Northern Super League (NSL). As one of the league’s six founding clubs, Vancouver Rise is committed to creating a platform that empowers Canadian athletes to thrive at the highest level while inspiring the next generation of young players across the country.
The Rise call Swangard Stadium in Burnaby their home, bringing elite women’s soccer to the local community.
We’re especially proud to cheer on goalkeeper Kirstin Tynan and Head Coach Anja Heiner-Møller, both alumni of NSGSC, as they take the next step in their soccer journeys with Vancouver Rise!
Vancouver Rise FC Academy
Vancouver Rise FC Academy made its second appearance in the Concacaf Champions Cup. Representing the only Canadian team in the tournament.
The Vancouver Rise Academy capped off their participation in the 2025 Concacaf W Champions Cup on a high note, as they defeated El Salvador side Alianza FC 8-0 at home in Canada for their 4th and final game, they will not proceed to the Semi-Finals next spring.
The champions of the 2025/26 Concacaf Cup will earn a berth in the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup Brazil and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Introducing the VANCOUVER GOLDENEYES, the newest team to be added (along with the Seattle Torrent) to the PWHL - Professional Women's Hockey League.
The Goldeneyes opened their season on home ice at the Pacific Coliseum to a SOLD OUT crowd of almost 15,000 new fans.

Altitude FC is North Shore's very own pro-am team competing in BC Premier League (BSPL).
