SELECT TEAMS - BCCSL Div 2 (U11-U18)
Our Select Program supports motivated athletes who are eager to grow their game in a more competitive environment. Players receive purposeful coaching that challenges them technically, tactically, and physically while still supporting balanced lifestyles and multisport participation.
Select teams train with intention, improve game understanding, and build confidence through quality practices and league play. Athletes strengthen their skills, deepen their love for the game, and prepare for increased competition as they progress through the pathway.
BCCSL League Information
- Available Select Teams: Division 2 (U11-U18)
- Select players are expected to participate in ~20H/month during regular season of training & games.
- Select coaches must apply and will be selected by the NSGSC technical staff.
- NSGSC Development Centre skill training programs are part of the development pathway for players.
- 1H/week of Development Centre skills training is recommended for all Select players, players will be grouped in their sessions according to ability/player like-mindedness (*extra registration/cost required)
- ALL Select D2 teams will participate in a total of 5 (appox. 1/month) in-season development sessions. These sessions will be pre-scheduled with your team/age group on an alternate day to your regular training.
- ALL U14-U18 Select D2 teams play a season of round-robin games and then participate in Coastal Cup B play through April
- Depending on the team's results in Coastal Cup, teams qualify for the Provincial Championships, and play right through early July.

Ages: 10-17, Birth Years 2009-2016
2026/27 Season Dates: September 6, 2026 - February 28, 2027
Winter Holiday Break: December 14 - January 3
*No Games on Thanksgiving or Family Day Weekends*
Practice Days: Weekday Evenings: ASSIGNED by NSGSC
Time: 2 X 1 HOUR between 5:30-9:00 PM
Game Days: Sundays: times vary throughout the day and each week. Game schedule is managed by BCCSL and games are played throughout the Lower Mainland, Sunshine Coast and Sea-to-Sky corridor.
Cost:
- All players must pay the general $440 registration fee
- Select U11-U18 Division 2 players must pay a Select Fee payable upon team placement acceptance
*Select fee registration will be required upon notification of team placement (only players selected who are eligible for the program will be notified with a new registration/payment link)*
