NSGSC has partnered with Athlete Prep to provide on-field strength & conditioning for teams and individuals at NSGSC.

Together, NSGSC and Athlete Prep's mission is to co-create an enjoyable experience for all participants, while fostering the physical development of each athlete across each of our three areas of focus:

  1. Injury Prevention: Use strengthening, mobility, and assessing technique to keep athletes healthy, allowing them to participate in all training sessions and games.
  2. Fundamental Movement Skill Training: Use assessments and instructions to ensure athletes are learning proper movement techniques in order to ensure efficiency in movement, and avoid injury, while creating a solid athletic base.
  3. Strength and Conditioning: Use individual and team programming to help athletes develop their strength, speed and agility, translating to higher performance on field.

Currently, Athlete Prep primarily works with NSGSC's Renegades and Division 1 teams on a weekly basis during the Fall/Winter season as part of their high performance curriculum. Any NSGSC player or team also has the opportunity to connect with Athlete Prep’s team of experts for individual & small group sessions, custom off season programming and more at a discounted rate.

NSGSC x Athlete Prep: On-Field S&C Sessions for Division 2 Players

Following the successful integration of Athlete Prep with our Division 1 teams, we’re excited to expand this partnership to include Division 2 athletes at NSGSC.

This on-field strength & conditioning program is designed to align seamlessly with your regular practice schedule. Each Division 2 age group has an assigned time slot—so you and your teammates can train together right before your usual practice.

The program focuses on building faster, stronger, and more resilient athletes while laying the foundation for long-term physical health. Sessions will emphasize three key pillars:

  1. Injury Prevention
    • Teaching proper techniques and strengthening key muscle groups to help athletes stay healthy and game-ready.
  2. Fundamental Movement Skill Training
    • Using assessments and hands-on coaching to improve movement efficiency, reduce injury risk, and develop a strong physical foundation.
  3. Strength & Conditioning
    • Delivering age-appropriate training to enhance speed, strength, power, and stamina—so players can perform their best on the field.
