In December 2001, The North Shore Girls Soccer Club approved the creation of a Women’s Program. Since then, it has provided a venue for youth players to transition into adult soccer.
The NSGSC Women's Program is part of NSGSC in the same way as Peewee and Divisional. We provide playing opportunities for all players 17+.
What are the seasons of play?
We run a similar calendar to youth, with our main playing season in Fall/Winter (September-March)* and our secondary playing season in Spring/Summer (May and June).
We are currently in urgent need of coaches and managers to head up our teams. If you are interested, please touch base with the Adult Programs Director, Dominique Falls.
Most of our Fall/Winter teams participate in the Metro Women’s Soccer League (MWSL). This league is for players of all levels.
We have one team that participates in the North Shore Thirty-Somethings Women's Soccer League (NSTSWSL). This team is for players who are over the age of 30, who live on the North Shore or Squamish and who are recreational. If you are player over 30 who is looking for a more competitive option, see above. If you are interested in joining this team, please email Jeff Mulock.
Our Spring/Summer season is divided between three leagues:

|Selects (A/B)||College, Metro, Gold|
|Division 1||Metro, Gold, Division 1|

We first form teams by skill level, then by age. The main questions to ask yourself are:
When divisions have multiple teams, we try to group them by age range. For example, we may have a Division 1 team with players mostly over 25 and one with players mostly under 25.
Interested in creating your own team? Note that we fill in existing teams before we create a new team. However, if there is a group that is large enough to create a entire new team (without taking players from existing teams) then we welcome the new addition!.
How do we establish home game and practice times?
We work on precedent and on availability. In other words, new teams are given what is left.
Home games are normally Sunday evenings at 6:00pm or 8:00pm at one of the turf fields in North Van or West Van. Some teams have Sunday morning slots and some Friday evening slots.
Practices are between 8:30pm -11:00pm in the Bubble (Windsor Secondary School) or on turf.
