NSGSC Prospects
The NSGSC Prospects, previously known as the Centre of Excellence is an invitation only development program for selected U9 - U12 players. It is a high intensity program with a focus on both technical and tactical components, where players will be training and developing with some of the best players in their age group.
The purpose of the NSGSC Prospects is to get players prepared and give them the opportunity to be evaluated for future prospect programs and intake teams such as the BCSPL.
Program Consists of:
- 20 weeks consisting of 1 weekly session or game on Saturdays (Sept to Dec, Jan to Mar, and additional spring programming may be offered at a later date)
- Professional NSGSC technical staff led environment
- All sessions indoor at NSGIF.
- Possible entry into tournaments in 2021 if current restrictions on returning to play are lifted. Any extra cost will be attached to these opportunities.

Program Information
The sessions will be based on the basic principles of the game. The players will be working with like-minded players in an environment that will be challenging, intense and fun. There will be lots of repetition of each stage of the game so players eventually do things naturally rather than being constantly reminded of what to do. These principles will apply to any level the players attain in their careers.
The expectation from the Club’s view is that the selected players will be committed to attending every session. This program is not to be considered a “drop-in” environment. Each session will be run by the top qualified coaches within our Club. The expectation required from the players will be their attitude is positive, brave, focused, and willing to listen and learn. Our highly trained coaching staff will do everything to provide an exciting, fun and development minded culture.

Cost: $575 (Full Year)

The Pathway to NSGSC Prospects
The players will be assessed via a combination of:
- Observations and assessments during previous club development programming
- Observations and assessments during previous and current regular practice sessions/games
- Technical staff knowledge and observations of all age group players
The players, parents, and/or coaches will be notified of the offer to join the NSGSC Prospects Program. We are looking for players that show a terrific attitude and are wanting to challenge themselves to improve.
The selection process will involve discussions with the paid technical staff as well as the respective team coaches. Attitude/commitment will be important factors in the selection. The selection of players will be at the sole discretion of the technical staff.
